Remember I showed you the sunburst granny squares I am making for my blanket?
Well I started piecing it together cos I couldn't stand the suspension anymore of waiting until all the squares were done!
I still have a lot more to do, but I thought I would show you the progress...
I started these squares about a month ago, maybe 5 weeks ago. So It's not bad going I think!
I worked out it takes me about 10minutes to crochet one square.
So far I have done 35 in the blanket and I have another 10 in my bag.
Did anyone know it was international pancake day yesterday? I made cinnamon and sugar pancakes for my kids. Unfortunately I can't eat them due to the wheat content... I know ! And I am going to a place that loves to make and eat crepes!! Go figure! I think a more Mediterranean place would be more suitable to my diet!

Your blanket is awesome!!! All the color changes drive me crazy...lol hate to tuck in all the ends! Great job!!!
Love the blanket...the colors are so pretty! Looks very romantic and soft and just the kind of blanket you want to cuddle up under and take a nap ;) Too much wheat bothers me as well so I substitute oat flour in everything. Try it...you'll like it! I started doing this 10 years ago and now it's very popular all over the web I see. Simply grind up whole oats in your blender and that's it...very easy and the flavor is fantastic when you replace the white or wheat flour in all your recipes. And I really haven't noticed and difference in the denseness in my recipes...unless a recipe calls for superfine cake four.
Bonnie,
Your crochet squares look beautiful. Your blanket is going to be fantastic! I love all the colors you've chosen!
Your crepes look yummy, too!
